JOB DESCRIPTION:


Leidos has a job opening for a Supply Chain Engineer Intern in the Washington Metro Area (Reston, VA or Gaithersburg, MD). This is an exciting opportunity to learn and gain experience with supply chain strategy and operations in support of programs all across the corporation. The Supply Chain Engineer Intern performs assignments in the Strategic Sourcing organization during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Supply Chain Engineer supports such as collaborating with key stakeholders on requirements for with Supplier Management, Proposal Strategy Development, Program Material Acquisition, Business Process Re-Engineering, and Procurement Tool deployments.

There will also be opportunities to work special projects with multi-functional teams. The most successful candidate will have a desire to be a part of a team, enjoy hard work and learning on the job from a team of other talented professionals.
