Director of Data Science

We are in the ed-advocacy space, seeking an analytics leader who can oversee a team of analysts and a team of data scientists. Our platform supports data aggregation for our partner organizations to efficiently and effectively campaign for the increased quality and quantity of education in this country. This is a special opportunity in a unique and exciting growth oriented organization.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be participating in heavy day-to-day statistical analytics and data science, using modern ML techniques, and managing a team of data scientists. Working alongside the Chief Data Scientist and managing parts of that team (and its output), this is a truly collaborative environment with exciting and complex problems to solve!

What You Need for this Position

- 5+ years of data science team leadership with a strong leadership philosophy
- Machine Learning

- predictive modeling

- hands-on Python oriented data science experience

- a statistics background
