Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases and test procedures based on requirement specifications
  • Test new applications and perform repeatable testing for existing products
  • Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals
  • Participate in iterative development and release management within an Agile Scrum environment
  • Collaborate with business analysts, development teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Attend design reviews and user meetings as required
  • Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and accurately
  • Execute test plans and continually analyze test coverage for completeness
  • Perform system integration, functional, volume, user interface, and performance testing on enhancements and modifications prior to production releases
  • Perform both manual and automated testing
  • Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
  • Analyze automated test results, troubleshoot failures, and update scripts as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on web-based application testing
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows operating systems and applications
  • 5+ years of experience writing test cases and test plans
  • 5+ years of experience using QA testing tools such as:
  • Azure DevOps / TFS
  • Selenium WebDriver with C#
  • Postman
  • SQL-related tools
  • 3+ years of experience in UI and API functional testing using tools such as Selenium WebDriver with C#
  • Strong experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment
  • Proven ability to perform:
  • Functional testing
  • Regression testing
  • System-level integration testing
  • End-to-end testing
  • Acceptance testing
  • Solid understanding of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and documentation standards
  • Experience with version control systems and defect tracking tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and presenting defect metrics to management through verbal and written reports
