Job Description

SUMMARY:

          We're looking for a Lead Android Mobile Developer to help us grow our product team as we work to expand our internal and client-facing (web and mobile) applications. This person will help lead our mobile development initiative that will create dynamic interactive mobile applications for our client facing professionals and our customers worldwide. This person would begin in February 2018 as a full-time employee in Dallas, TX.
 Backed by senior CBRE executives, our fast-paced team is on a mission to change the space of commercial real estate through our suite of simple, intuitive client-side applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborating with UX, design, product management and engineering to help define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
  • Develop and test new enterprise application features using test-driven development
  • Perform enhancements or maintenance to existing software solutions
  • Monitor for, evaluate, resolve and make decisions and recommendations to remediate application production issues
  • Work with Product Manager and Scrum Master to estimate, design, and build efficient, long term business applications utilizing standards

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required in computer science, IS, MIS or related technology or engineering field
  • Typically has 5-7 years of mobile development experience
  • 2+ years developing and architecting enterprise mobile solutions
  • Proficient in Java, Kotlin and Android frameworks
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
  • Experience with build engines (Jenkins 2, Circle CI, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of the cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with standard and modern digital design tools (e.g., InVision, Zeppelin, Sketch, etc.)

NICE TO HAVES:
  • Two or more shipped Android applications in Play Store.
  • Web development experience using modern JS based frameworks such as react / react native for mobile development.
  • Experience working with development teams in an agile environment
  • Passion for innovation, you are informed about innovations, aware of the types, and willing to individually contribute to the cause
